A Japanese whisky from Nikka, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Nikka's blenders created it to bring peat smoke and rich oak together with gentler flavours.
The nose offers garden herbs, subtle tropical fruit, ripe apples and stem ginger. The palate is creamy, with butterscotch, vanilla, balanced oak and plenty of warm ginger and spice. The finish is toffee sweetness with spicy oak.
