Nikka – Yoichi Single Malt (70cl, 45%)

Nikka Yoichi Single Malt is a Japanese single malt whisky from Nikka, bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. Nikka was founded by Masataka Teketsuru, who was born in 1894 into a family of sake makers that dated back to 1733. In 1918 his first employer sent him to Scotland to learn the techniques of distilling and whisky production. Back in Osaka he built the first whisky distillery in Japan, then in 1934 chose to strike out alone in search of the ideal location for Japanese whisky.
