Nikka – From the Barrel 90th Anniversary (50cl, 51.4%)

Nikka From the Barrel is a Japanese whisky, here in a 90th anniversary edition for Nikka, bottled at 51.4% in a 50cl bottle. Nikka was founded by Masataka Teketsuru, born in 1894 into a family that had made sake since 1733. His first employer sent him to Scotland in 1918 to learn distilling and whisky production. He returned to Osaka and built the first whisky distillery in Japan, and in 1934 he set out to find the ideal site for his own whisky.
