Nikka – Coffey Malt Whisky (75cl)

Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky is a Japanese whisky made by Nikka in a Coffey still, equipment usually used for grain whisky, here run on 100 percent malted barley. The result is a rich, silky whisky that combines the depth of malt with the soft, rounded texture of Coffey still distillation. The nose brings ripe pear, banana, vanilla, caramel and light toasted oak. The palate is creamy and full, with toffee, sweet malt, citrus peel and gentle spice. The finish is smooth and lingering, with vanilla, soft oak and a little sweetness.
