Nikka Whisky From the Barrel is a Japanese blended whisky from The Nikka Whisky Distilling Co., bottled at 51.4% in a 50cl bottle. It is chill-filtered and has added colour.
It is a complex blend with rich, full aromas. The nose is fine and layered, with lilac, apricot, clove and some leather. The palate is strong and robust: peppery and oaky, with peach, caramelised apple and honeysuckle.
The finish is long, with coastal notes, plum, oak and vanilla.
