Nikka Yoichi Discovery Aromatic Yeast (70cl)

Yoichi Discovery Aromatic Yeast is a Japanese whisky from Nikka, made at the Yoichi distillery in Hokkaido and sold in a 70cl bottle. It is made with selected aromatic yeasts, and it is matured in oak casks that add delicate tannins and spice. The nose is fruity and floral, with peat and mineral notes. On the palate it is harmonious, balancing sweetness, smoke and a fresh acidity. The finish is long, leaving sweet tobacco and dried fruit.
