Nobu x KAWS by QUI The Blue Bottle Edition is a tequila from Mexico, made to mark the 30th anniversary of Nobu. It is limited to 1,650 bottles, and the presentation box carries the signature style of the artist KAWS.
The tequila was distilled in 1999 and is 25 years old, aged in oak barrels and then rested in stainless-steel tanks.
The nose offers cherry, honey and toffee with a lift of dried orange. On the palate cooked agave comes first, followed by white pepper and a rounded, oak-aged sweetness. The finish is long, with toffee, citrus peel and a gentle pepper warmth.
