Nobu x KAWS by QUI The Red Bottle Edition 25 Year Old

This is a 25-year-old tequila from Mexico, released as a limited edition of 1,650 bottles for the 30th anniversary of Nobu. The collaboration with the artist KAWS extends to the packaging, a deep red box with oversized Nobu lettering and the artist's crossed-eye motif. The tequila was distilled in 1999 and aged in oak barrels, then rested in stainless-steel tanks before bottling. On the nose there are cherry, honey, toffee and dried orange. The palate shows cooked agave with white pepper, layered with toffee and honeyed sweetness. The finish is a long one, with dried orange and white pepper and a warm, mature oak character.
