Nomad Outland is a blended Scotch whisky built from single malt and grain whiskies from several Scottish distilleries. It is bottled at 41.3% ABV.
It is matured twice. The first period is in Scotland, in ex-Pedro Ximénez and ex-Oloroso sherry casks. The whisky is then shipped to Jerez de la Frontera in southern Spain for a second period in the same casks, in the warmer Andalusian climate.
The nose is floral and malty, with blossom, vanilla, dried fruit and honey. The palate is full and creamy, with raisins, apricot, vanilla and oak, and the finish is soft and warming with lasting sherry sweetness.
