Mission Gold is a 37 year old Lowland single grain Scotch from North British, bottled by Murray McDavid at 47.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The spirit was distilled in 1988 and spent its first 34 years in a Sherry butt. It then moved into Pedro Ximénez barriques for a final three years, and was bottled in spring 2026. North British was founded in 1885 and is one of only six dedicated grain distilleries in Scotland.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
