Not Your Father's Bourbon is a small batch bourbon whiskey from Small Town Craft Spirits, produced at the Minhas Distillery in Monroe, Wisconsin. It is bottled at 43% (86 proof).
A touch of Madagascar vanilla and natural flavours is added, so the bourbon itself remains the focus. Launched in 2017, it was the first spirit from the team behind Not Your Father's Root Beer.
Warm amber in colour, it has a nose of caramel corn with soft vanilla and a rustic, grainy note. The palate is smooth and gently sweetened, with caramel and vanilla, and the finish carries a lingering caramel and vanilla sweetness.
