Nusbaumer Eau-de-Vie de Poire Williams is a pear eau-de-vie from Alsace, made by Jos Nusbaumer, who has distilled there since 1947. Only the best ripe fruit is used, and in generous quantity, so the pear flavour is prominent: 18 kg of pears go into each litre.
After natural fermentation it is distilled in copper stills and reduced with spring water from Nusbaumer's own spring. It is 43% abv and comes in a 70cl bottle.
