This is a wild raspberry eau-de-vie from Distillerie Nusbaumer, part of its Exception range of fruit spirits.
Fresh wild raspberries are macerated in a neutral wine spirit, using 8 kg of fruit for each litre of alcohol, and the mixture is then distilled. The aim is a high concentration of raspberry aroma.
The texture is round and elegant, with fruit leading on the palate and a fresh feel that follows.
