Offley Ruby Port (75cl)

Offley Ruby is a red port from the house founded in London in 1737 by wine merchant William Offley. It is made in the traditional Port way, with hand-selected grapes crushed and fermented at controlled temperatures on the skins, then fortified with grape spirit. The wine is aged in oak, and a team of tasters blends it to keep the house style. The component wines are generally between 2 and 5 years old, averaging 3 years, and the blend is cold-stabilised and filtered before bottling. It is well structured, with sweetness balanced by ripe tannins and a lively aroma of red fruit, plus some more complex notes from the oak.
