Offley Tawny Port (75cl)

Offley Tawny Port comes from a house founded in London in 1737 by the wine merchant William Offley. It is made by the traditional Port method: hand-selected grapes are destemmed and crushed, then fermented at controlled temperature with skin maceration. Grape spirit is added to set the balance between body and bouquet. The port is aged in oak casks, and a team of winemakers tastes and analyses it over the years to guide its development. It shows a good balance of sweetness and ripe tannins, with a lively aroma of red fruit and more complex notes from the oak. It pairs with traditional desserts such as crème brûlée, apple and almonds, and served chilled it makes an aperitif.
