Old Overholt 114 Proof is a rye whiskey bottled at 57% ABV, which is 114 proof. It pays tribute to the ryes the brand produced during the Prohibition era.
That strength is historically rooted in the barrel strength at which whiskey was traditionally matured at the time. It is non-chill filtered, which helps it keep a naturally full and robust flavour.
