Old Potrero 6 Year Old Rye Whiskey (70cl, 48.5%)

Old Potrero 6 Year Old is an American rye whiskey from Hotaling & Co. of San Francisco, the distillery formerly known as Anchor Distilling Company. It is bottled at 48.5% in a 70cl bottle. The mashbill is 100% malted rye, distilled in copper pot stills and aged for six years. The nose brings baked bread, vanilla, stewed plum and dark fruit, with allspice and cinnamon beneath. On the palate come brown sugar, maple, black cherry and dark chocolate, with building rye spice and a touch of orange peel. The finish is long, with a pot still tang and brown sugar that fades into dry rye spice and cinnamon.
