Old Pulteney 12 Year Old is a Northern Highlands single malt, bottled at 40% abv in a 75cl bottle.
It matured wholly in air-dried, hand-selected ex-bourbon casks.
The nose is honeycomb, vanilla, soft sawdust and oatcakes with a briny hint of sea air. The palate is dry, medium bodied and smooth, with honey, cream, chocolate peanuts, mint and citrus, and a faint saltiness. The finish is sweet and long-lasting, with toffee, brine and lemon.
