This is an 18 year old single malt from Old Pulteney, bottled at 46% ABV.
Its character and colour come entirely from the casks in which it matured, and those casks give it a spicy, deeply warming profile. Chocolate and spice lead, with brighter, zesty flavours coming through alongside.
It won a Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2020.
