Old Pulteney Coastal Series Pineau des Charentes Casks is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from Wick, bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
It was matured in Pineau des Charentes casks, a fortified wine from the west of France.
The nose brings ripe orchard fruit and a coastal sea breeze. On the palate there are sultanas, honey-glazed figs and a little sweet ginger, and the finish is long, with a lingering warmth.
