Old Pulteney 25 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Pulteney Distillery in Wick, on the Caithness coast, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky spent its first years in American oak, which gave it a spicy sweetness. It was later moved into Spanish oak casks, which added depth and colour. The casks matured for a full twenty-five years in a distillery warehouse by the sea.
