Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year Old Handmade Bourbon (75cl, 53.5%)

Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 107 proof (53.5%). Its label reads "Aged Many Years in the Wood - 10 Summers Old", and only a small amount of Kentucky limestone water is added before bottling. The mash bill is wheated, made from corn, soft red winter wheat and malted barley with no rye. It is based on the Buffalo Trace wheated mash bill, with barrels chosen by the Van Winkle family's own tasters. It is described as showing concentrated dried fruit, layered baking spice, caramel and toasted oak.
