A ten-year-old single malt from an unnamed Speyside distillery, finished generously in Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 54.7% vol., without colouring and without chill filtration.
On the nose, caramelised sugar, light syrup and milk chocolate meet candied pecans and chocolate liqueur notes, with dry mature oak in the background. The palate is powerful and rich, with vanilla fudge, soaked dried fruits, sweet nutty malt, chocolate raisins, Brazil nuts and crisp caramel biscuit. The finish brings drying oak, matured fruit cake and roasted spices.
