Pampero Anniversario Rum (70cl)

Pampero Anniversario is a Venezuelan rum, distilled mainly from molasses and aged by the solera method in white oak casks previously used for bourbon. It is presented in an elegant bottle wrapped in a leather case. The ageing gives it a rich aromatic profile with notes of vanilla, chocolate and tobacco, along with ripe fruit such as dates and plums. On the palate it is notably soft and balanced, with sweet spices, leather and a light balsamic freshness, leading to a persistent, pleasantly warm finish. It is suited to drinking neat, perhaps with dark chocolate, or as a base for sophisticated cocktails.
