Paolo Lazzaroni & Figli Marsala Dry is a Marsala Fine I.P. Ambra Secco from the Marsala DOC in Sicily, bottled at 17% vol. It is a white blend of Catarratto, Grillo and Inzolia.
The wine is fermented to dryness and aged for about a year in oak. Its amber colour comes from mosto cotto, and the style is dry, nutty and savoury rather than sweet.
The nose offers toasted almond, dried fig, orange peel and brown butter. The palate is dry and nutty with a savoury, saline edge, and the finish is long and oxidative.
