A 15 year old wheated bourbon made to the Van Winkle family's wheated recipe. It was selected from barrels in the heart of a Kentucky warehouse and is bottled at 107 proof.
It pours a hazy copper. The palate is full-bodied after a rich, supple entry, with intense caramel, toffee and peppery brown spice. The finish is very long and evolving, fading through spice and oak.
