Park Lane Old Blended 1970s (75cl, 43%)

Park Lane Old Blended is a blended whisky from the 1970s, bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle. The nose is delicate and fruity, with marzipan, malt, vanilla and light citrus echoes of lemon peel. The palate is soft and silky, with honey, caramel and subtle spice on a base of toasted oak. The finish is short to medium and fairly dry, leaving black pepper, liquorice root and a faint citrus bitterness reminiscent of kumquat or the bottom of a teacup.
