Passport Scotch is a blended Scotch whisky from the 1970s, in a 75cl bottle at 43%.
The nose shows the character of old storage: old cardboard, leather, beeswax and dry wood. With air, green apple, fresh grapes, light vanilla and a hint of black pepper appear. The palate is soft and balanced, with sweet apples, clean malt, floral touches and a creamy, caramel-like sweetness. The finish is short to medium, drifting drier and fruitier, and leaves a clean, faintly tart trail.
