A fortified Marsala from Pellegrino, Dolce Superiore DOC. It has an intense amber colour. The nose shows raisins, dried plums, vanilla and caramel, from maturation in barrique. On the palate it adds layers of molasses, toasted hazelnut and light spice, leading to a long, enveloping finish. It is suited to meditation and to complex desserts such as berry tarts or intense chocolate. Serve fresh.
