Penelope Barrel Strength Batch 09 is a straight bourbon whiskey bottled at barrel strength. It is a four grain bourbon, made with corn, rye, wheat and malted barley.
The nose combines caramel, vanilla, honey, toasted oak, baking spice and soft dark fruit. The palate is full-bodied and warming, with brown sugar, caramel, vanilla, oak and rye spice, toasted grain and a touch of fruit sweetness. The finish is long and bold, with lingering oak, spice, caramel and vanilla.
