Penelope Wheated Bourbon is a four-grain bourbon from Indiana, in a 75cl bottle. The mash bill is 74% corn, 16% wheat, 7% rye and 3% malted barley, which gives a soft, sweet style with a little spice.
The nose is light oak, sweet corn, apple and pear. The palate brings vanilla, honey, caramel apple and a hint of orange zest. The finish is lingering brown sugar, toasted oak and a touch of cinnamon.
