Pig's Nose is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. Richard Paterson created the blend, which is produced by Ian MacLeod Distillers. It brings together five single malts, three from Speyside, one Highland and one Islay, with grain whisky from Invergordon, and the malt content is 40%. Every component is matured in first-fill ex-bourbon American oak casks.
The nose is floral, with honey-soaked pear, toasted multigrain bread and almonds, and a trace of peat smoke. The palate has light toffee, white chocolate, melon and orange peel, with a thread of Islay smoke. The finish is short to medium, with peat, cocoa nibs and walnut skin.
