This is a five-year-old straight bourbon from Pinhook, bottled at cask strength and released in 2024. It uses the same custom mash bill as the brand's straight bourbon.
Pinhook blends and proofs its whiskeys in annual vintages, so each release reflects that year's barrels, shaped by the oak, mash bill, climate and storage. Bottling at cask strength is meant to bring out the complex flavours and give a long, balanced finish.
