Pinhook 9 Year Old is a bourbon from the Vertical Series, in its 2024 release. Pinhook blends and proofs its whiskeys in annual vintages, so that each year's barrels show their own character rather than copying a set flavour profile.
The Vertical Series follows a group of 1,350 bourbon barrels as they age from 4 to 12 years. Each vintage is blended and proofed to show the bourbon at that age, and this bottling is the nine-year-old.
