Pinhook Bourbon War Vertical Series 6 Year Old Bourbon (75cl)

This is a six-year-old Kentucky bourbon from Pinhook, part of its Bourbon War Vertical Series. The series follows a single group of 1,350 high-rye barrels from MGP as they age from four to twelve years. Pinhook sets the proof for each vintage to suit that year's barrels, rather than aiming for a fixed flavour profile. It is blended in small batches, and each release is dedicated to a young thoroughbred. The nose offers brown sugar, liquorice and toasted almond. The palate is full, with black cherries, cloves and Tahitian vanilla.
