A 7-year-old rye from Pinhook's Vertical Series, the 2023 release, blended from just 28 barrels.
The bottling is named after Tiz Rye Time, a racehorse by Majestic Warrior, in keeping with the series' pairing of each release with a horse.
The nose is lively, with caramel, orange zest, cedar and clove. The palate is powerful, with chocolate, root beer, cardamom and tobacco.
