Pioneer Malbec - La Celia

A red wine from La Celia, made from Malbec. It shows a deep ruby colour with violet reflections. Dark berry aromas such as plum and blackberry are joined by light spice and floral notes. On the palate it is full and enveloping, with smooth tannins and a pleasant freshness that balances the fruit. The finish is persistent and harmonious. It suits grilled red meats, savoury dishes and hard cheeses, as well as simpler everyday cooking. Serve around 16-18 C; a short aeration can help the aromas open.
