Pisco Portón Mosto Verde Quebranta (70cl)

Pisco Portón Mosto Verde Quebranta is a Peruvian pisco from the Hacienda La Caravedo estate, in a 70cl bottle. It is made in small batches using traditional methods and distilled in discontinuous-cycle stills, and it is not aged. Mosto verde means the fermentation is stopped before the must of Quebranta grapes is distilled. The nose is floral and fruity, recalling jasmine, peach and melon, with light minty touches. On the palate it is firm yet soft, with vanilla, herbs and pepper, and a long finish. It suits sipping over plenty of ice.
