This is a 10 year old Port Charlotte, a heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich. It is the first release in the distillery's Cask Exploration series to use Syrah casks.
It is bottled at 54.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle, un-chill filtered and free of added colouring.
The wine's influence is said to sit well alongside the peat smoke, bringing juicy berries, sweet strawberry and a subtle, warm citrus note.
