Port Dundas 1988 is a 28 year old single grain Lowland Scotch whisky from a Glasgow distillery that has since closed, bottled by Douglas Laing in its Old Particular range. It was distilled in October 1988 and bottled in August 2017 from a single refill hogshead, giving 290 bottles at 50% ABV without chill-filtration. The nose is light and zesty with fruit. The palate is creamy with vanilla, sticky molasses and soft oak spices, and the long finish carries espresso, toasted nuts and sweet maple syrup.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
