This is a 15-year-old single grain whisky from Port Dundas, the Glasgow distillery founded in 1811 and closed in 2010. It was distilled in 2010, its last year of production, and bottled in 2026 by Signatory Vintage for its Un-Chillfiltered Collection at 46%. It matured in a small batch of first-fill sherry hogsheads and first-fill bourbon barrels. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose offers vanilla custard and sweet caramel with raisins, red cherries and a syrupy sweetness. The palate is round and smooth, with creamy vanilla, toffee and cherries. The finish is medium in length, soft and sweet, with vanilla, syrup, a little spice and dry oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
