A 14 year old single grain whisky from Port Dundas in the Lowlands, bottled by WhiskyDudes at 59.7% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 16 November 2009 and bottled on 20 March 2024, and is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. The outturn is 100 bottles.
For most of its life it rested in a refill hogshead. WhiskyDudes then moved it into a first fill Amontillado quarter cask for over two years.
Walnuts, crystallised sugar, Baharat spices, charcoal and beeswax mark the nose. The palate is waxy and juicy, with spice and a dry walnut note. The finish brings spicy rye notes, meatiness, smoked pepper, rum raisins, figs and macadamias.
