Port Ellen – 1983/2006 22 Year Old McGibbon's Provenance (70cl, 46%)

This is a single malt from Port Ellen, the Islay distillery that has since closed, bottled in 2006 by McGibbon's Provenance. It was distilled in 1983, the year before Port Ellen ceased production, and matured for 22 years. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is described as showing the distillery's maritime character alongside a smoky depth, in the old-school Islay manner.
