This is a 36 year old Port Ellen, distilled in 1983, the final year of production at the Islay distillery, and bottled in 2019. It is the first release in Eidolon, a three-part series from Hunter Laing & Co. The whisky matured for over three decades before bottling, and Port Ellen is now closed. The release is limited to 638 bottles.
