Port Ellen 40 Year Old is an Islay single malt distilled in 1982 and bottled in 2022 after four decades in cask. It is the second release in the Eidolon trilogy from Hunter Laing & Co. The trilogy was created in anticipation of the reopening of the Port Ellen distillery. This release was limited to 403 individually numbered bottles.
