Port Ellen 40 Year Old 9 Rogue Casks is a single malt in a 70cl bottle at 50.9% vol. It is composed of nine casks from the Port Ellen distillery: four American hogsheads and five European oak casks.
The edition is limited to 1380 bottles.
The nose combines fine peat smoke with sweet notes, orange peel and fresh herbs. On the palate come spicy herbs, cinnamon, peat smoke and oak. The finish is long, with fine smoke.
