Primitivo di Manduria Tautor Castello Monaci

A red wine from Castello Monaci, made from Primitivo grown in the Manduria area of Puglia. It shows an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose offers ripe red fruit such as sour cherry and plum, with spice, chocolate and a light touch of vanilla from wood ageing. On the palate it has a full body, soft integrated tannins and a long, satisfying finish. It pairs well with grilled red meats, game dishes and aged cheeses, and can also be enjoyed as a meditation wine.
