A red wine from Castello Monaci, made from Primitivo grown in Salento, Puglia.
It shows a deep ruby colour with violet reflections. The nose brings ripe red and black fruit, cherry, plum and blackberry, with spice, chocolate and vanilla from barrique ageing. On the palate it is full-bodied, with velvety tannins, balanced fruit, spice and freshness, and a long, persistent finish with mature fruit and toasted notes.
