Provenance Balmenach 10 Year Old is a single cask Speyside single malt from Douglas Laing's Provenance range, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled at Balmenach and matured for ten years in a single refill hogshead. It is non-chill filtered and has no added colour.
The nose brings honey, green apple and lemon zest, with malted barley, cut grass and gentle vanilla. On the palate there are sweet cereal, orchard fruit and heather honey, followed by soft spice, oak and a touch of toffee. The finish is clean, medium-long and slightly dry, with malt sweetness, citrus and light pepper.
