This is a 2011 Balmenach single malt from Speyside, bottled at 10 years old by Douglas Laing in its Provenance series. It matured for the whole decade in a single refill butt and was bottled in September 2021 at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings marmalade, lemon juice, honey and porridge. On the palate there is ginger, cinnamon, vanilla, buttery pastry, zesty orange, toast and caramel.
